Wicked's 2nd National Tour will welcome two new witches and welcome back a swankified prince! Jennifer DiNoia will replace Christine Dwyer as Elphaba, Hayley Podschun will replace Jeanna De Waal as Glinda, and David Nathan Perlow will return to the role of Fiyero on April 3rd!
Jennifer first joined Wicked in early 2006 in the Chicago company as a swing and Elphaba/Nessa understudy. She replaced Carmen Cusack as the standby for Elphaba in November 2007 when Carmen joined the 1NT. Jennifer closed out the Chicago company as the standby before moving directly to the Broadway company where she stood by for the role for two and a half years. She also briefly visited the Australian company as the standby in late 2009, and is joining the 2nd Tour directly from the South Korean company. DiNoia returned to the Broadway company last fall filling in for Donna Vivino while she opened a new show in Philadelphia. Hayley Podschun is a newcomer to Wicked, having appeared on Broadway in several shows, most recently as Mildred Harris in "Chaplin." David Nathan Perlow returns to the tour after playing Fiyero from December 2010-April 2012. Best Witches to all three!
